Cole released a surprise album, “Might Delete Later,” on Friday, April 5, debuting second on the Billboard 200 with lower sales compared to his previous releases. The album's last track, “7 Minute Drill,” a diss track on fellow rapper Lamar, debuted sixth on the Billboard Top 100 chart.

Jermaine Lamarr Cole (born January 28, 1985) is an American rapper and record producer. Born on a military base in Germany and raised in Fayetteville, North Carolina, Cole initially gained attention as a rapper following the release of his debut mixtape, The Come Up, in early 2007.

Cole says he's "grateful" for the experience of paying Jay-Z to get his masters, rapping in a new snippet that "business is business." The snippet in question is tucked in around the six-minute mark in the latest volume of the two-time Grammy winner's Might Delete Later video series.
